This is my first forum but the invitation was so warm and friendly I couldn't refuse. We are one of the largest and oldest Llama breeders in VA. We started in 1987 and now maintain a herd of anywhere from 40 to 60. We prefer to keep it at 40 where we are now but we have 10 babies due this fall. We sell a lot of llamas these days to guard alpacas, sheep, goats and even cattle and horses.
The last boy we sold was to show in NY. He won Grand Champion and Best Bred and Owned at five months at the Virginia Classic so we hope he will continue to do well for his new owner.
We will be showing in NC next month and at SAFF later this year. We have to show to keep our name out there but what we really love is having llama babies so we have to keep selling to make room for more babies. Speaking of which check out our website www.shangrilallamas.com There maybe a llama in your future.
