We have Rhode Island Red (RIR) Chicks!!!!!! RIR's are an excellent dual purpose breed. They are excellent egg producers as well excellent meat quality birds. They are heat & cold tolerant. They produce large brown eggs. They also make great pets. RIR's are a great old time american breed. Their plumage when mature will be very dark red.
